The bench-top and stackable Standard Process Furnace from Expertech is gaining good market acceptance and a growing install base. The good news for European customers is that CE marking of this tool is complete and orders for delivery into the EC can now be taken. The CTR has recently recieved orders from both device manufacturers and solar cell makers.

The main advantage of the CTR is that it allows small batches to be run on standard processes or for production processes to be developed for upscaling to volume. The system can be stacked (to conserve floor space) or stand-alone and can be opperated on just about any current semiconductor or solar process. Another option is the design of an Auto-Load system should this be required.
